John Wick returns to the world of assassin’s to pay an old debt. He soon discovers that this debt comes with a cost greater then its reward. When a large bounty is put on his life, the world of assassin’s explodes around him, sending the criminal world in a frenzy!
Chad Stahelski does one hell of a job directing the action in this crime thriller. He does a wonderful job with the fast pace action while never detracting from the story. A story brought to life by its lead actor Keanu Reeves (John Wick). I don’t consider Keanu Reeves as a serious solid actor, but these types of roles seem to fit him well. The supporting cast here fit there roles just as good like Laurence Fishburne (Bowery King), Common (Cassian), Riccardo Scamarcio (Santino D’Antonio). The film also has a great antagonist with Ruby Rose as Ares, who brings that silent killer type to the role (LITERALLY). With great characters that compliment the high adrenaline story, this is one for the action genre!
Okay action fans, here’s another one just for you! If there is a world of assassin’s, John Wick chapter 2 is its playground. The first John Wick brought us those incredibly entertaining gun fights that were quickly termed “Gun-Fu”. John Wick 2 brings us that and more! A rock’em-sock’em gun slinging action packed popcorn flick that brings the fun by the bucket loads of bullet casings. Its gun-fu fight scenes and assortment of different exotic weapons is nothing short of full on gun porn! With a crazy opening scene car chase this movie throws everything at you except the kitchen sink…
